• On contract award, contact the IT Site Mobilisation Team, who will ask you to complete a short questionnaire. The information will focus on providing the following:
    • Site address.
    • Lead time.
    • Expected peak number of users (including guests).
    • Confirmation of building type (permanent or temporary).
    • Duration of contract and details of any phasing.
    • Site specific requirements (customer requirements, CCTV, access control interfaces).
    • Extent of the network (range of wireless required).
    • AV and video conferencing requirements.
    • Budget / tender provision.
    • Tender quotes received (if available).
  • Assess data capacity requirements to make sure the connection fulfils the demands of the project throughout the project duration.
  • Identify any customer specific requirements, e.g. nuclear licensed sites.
  • 10 working days – rapid (4G / 5G*).
  • 20 working days – wireless fibre / Starlink.
  • 90 working days – fixed line (fibre).
